BUO in England
Buo is an orchestra with about 50 members and every second year they make a trip somewhere.
Where the destination is depends on where the musicfestivals are.
The trips are always to some kind of musicfestival and sometimes even enter a contests.
The summer 2005 BUO went to Scarborough in England and enterd a contest and actually came in the second place.
I joined BUO the year of 2000 but had to quit it 2008. It was hard to keep it up with the distance of half of sweden.
On the boat to England we got some weird company...
... So me and afew others escaped to another part of the boat.
When we got to Scarborough BUO was devided into two grops that was staiyng in twodifferent hotells.
On the pickture you can see Bente who is standing infront of the hotel we where staying at.
We where afew peoples who took a short walk before the dinner on the first day. When we got to se this view I just had to take a pickture of it.
If you know where the hotel is you can actualy see the hotel on the pickture.
We did alot of things and wisited many places.
One night we (BUO) went on a ghostwalk....
...One day we went to Drakulas grave and the town were it is said,
that everything started...
...on another day some of us went to Flamingoland and
those who did not want to go to the park went to a town next to Flamingoland
and did prety much what you can se on the pickture...

This is when we were playin for the peoples in Scarborough. They seemed to be very happy to hear us play.
On the last evening in Scarborough we decided to play
one more time before we had to go back to Sweden.

Becouse BUO selebrated 40 year we gave our present conductor a gift to remember this year.
These kind of trips is something I really miss from the time I was playing in BUO. It was alot of fun and everyone in BUO tookcare of everyone. Something I am never going to forget.
